Bolivia
Bolivia - from Lapaz to Salar de Uyuni

Bolivia is high!

La Paz is the world's highest capital, Potosi the highest city, the Salar de Uyuni the highest salt lake. Bolivia hasn't always been land locked.

There is still a conflictual situation with Chile over the land Bolivia had to the sea. Consequently, it has suffered economically due to the situation.

Bolivia may be one of the poorest countries in South America, but its cultural wealth, the mindblowing Andean landscapes and the remnants of mysterious ancient civilizations make it the richest and most exciting destination for adventurous and independent travellers.
