La Cambiale di Matrimonio

With bright colours, lights, humour and wonderful vocal vibrations, this modern comedy opera was a blow to the mind and senses at the Berlin's premiere, at the Kulturbrauerei. This Georgian production from Rossini was a pure success and pleasure for the audience. The presence of the the German Bundestag President, Norbert Lammert, was a token of the quality of this event.

An interesting feature of the opera was the different languages used. A mix of Georgian, Italian and German gave a very cosmopolitan tone to the evening. The costumes and props were very colourful and with an original set with it's swimming pool on centre stage. There were definitely some unique ideas used to impress and make the audience crack up with laughter.
